I’m a registered dietitian who specializes in eating disorders, intuitive eating, and a weight-inclusive approach to healthcare. I work with clients by helping them rebuild trust with food, understand their bodies, and improve their overall relationship with nourishment. My career has evolved toward a blend of clinical expertise, trauma-informed care, and supporting people in real-life contexts, whether they’re at home, traveling, or navigating big life transitions.
Heather is a psychologist who also specializes in eating disorders, trauma, anxiety-spectrum disorders and religious trauma. We work together in private practice.
We wanted our work to reflect the freedom, curiosity, and flexibility we encourage in our clients. Moving into remote work allowed me to expand our connection with people, create a lifestyle aligned with our values, and weave our love for travel into our professional life without compromising the quality of care we offer. It’s been the best way to live more intentionally, experience more of the world, and still do meaningful work every day.
During the pandemic, we were trying to take advantage of cheaper airfare and lodging while trying to work abroad. We discovered Noma's hotel while traveling to Belize, when our scuba diving driver told us about it when we stopped to pick people up to go with us. We were drawn to Noma because it combines community, structure, and adventure in a way that makes remote work not just feasible, but energizing. We wanted to be surrounded by people who also value flexibility, creativity, and global living.
My biggest takeaway: Community matters more than geography. The place is beautiful, but it’s the people, the conversations, and the shared experiences that make the trip transformative. It reaffirmed that remote work doesn’t have to be isolating.

Australia and New Zealand have been bucket-list destinations for me because they offer a different kind of spaciousness...in the landscapes, the lifestyles, and even the food culture. We're excited to slow down, explore nature, and experience places that feel both grounding and awe-inspiring.
