Welcome to Watamu, Kenya, a slow-paced village nestled between the Indian Ocean and the mangrove forests of the Mida Creek. Don’t want to leave Kenya without experiencing safari? Lucky for you there’s an optional excursion to the famous Maasai Mara safari at the end of your three weeks. Get up close and personal with the Big 5 as well as meet and support the Maasai community.

Watamu is one of the best places in the world for kitesurfing! Head down to the beach and learn from the best, or if kitesurfing isn't your thing, jump on paddleboards, kayas or even get your scuba diving cert and dive at the local turtle conservancy.
