Unwind in paradise at Weligama, Sri Lanka. This charming beach town, aptly named "sandy village," is a haven for digital nomads. Whether you're a seasoned surfer catching epic waves or a beginner, Weligama is perfect for all skill levels.

Beyond the beach, the vibrant yet laid-back atmosphere is perfect for yoga, meditation, or simply reconnecting with yourself and fellow travelers. For a touch of wildlife magic, keep an eye out for sperm whales and playful spinner dolphins offshore.

We’ll be staying in a beautiful boutique hotel overlooking Weligama Bay! The hotel features a pool, a delicious on-site restaurant, and direct access to the beach.

We'll have access to Outpost, a nearby co-work space that has a café, dedicated coworking rooms and the most reliable internet in the area. Outpost is just a short 15-minute walk or quick tuk-tuk ride from the hotel, making your commute both convenient and picturesque.

Weligama Beach is famous for its stilt fishermen, a traditional fishing method practiced along the Southern coast. The art of stilt fishing requires a great deal of patience and endurance, fishermen use a ritipanna (stilt) and the pitta (fishing rod).
